Four problems related to front suspension wheel bearing have been reported for the 1996 Chrysler Sebring. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle has had ten wheel bearing replacements since time of purchase.
At any speed there's a loud hollow sound. Took to dealer and they stated that both front wheel bearing needed replacing.
The front and rear wheel bearings failed for the tenth time. This was an ongoing problem and the mechanic stated the vehicle was a lemon. Chrysler has not and will not do anything to eliminate the problem.
Consumer states front wheel bearing went bad twice, and the rear wheel bearing also went out twice.
