The contact owns a 2010 Chrysler Sebring. The contact stated that while driving approximately 25 mph, the contact attempted to decelerate but the brakes failed to respond. The contact had to swerve to avoid a collision and then crashed into a light pole. There were no injuries. The vehicle was taken to a private mechanic where the failure could not be replicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted about the failure and stated that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 10v009000 (service brakes, hydraulic).
