One problem related to air brake antilock has been reported for the 1996 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Shortly after getting the van we had it in the shop for brake surging, in the shop twice for this. Then a couple times after that during services we complained again. Then at some low mileage of about 26,000 we had to get a complete brake job, then again at 50,??? . When I asked the service rep. If there was a problem with the rotor and drums heating up and warping and he said he could not say. I believe there may have been incomplete testing of the components or below standards materials utilized.
