Failure Date: 11/06/2001

The car was in cruise control on I-95 at 70 mph. The speed suddenly jumped to 80 mph and would have gone higher if I hadn't applied the brakes. The rpm reached 4000, and the only way I was able to gain control was to cut off the ignition. This is a safety hazard and could have resulted in a very bad accident. I took the car to caruso Chrysler at 1750 southside boulevard, jacksonville, FL.
