Brake Electric Antilock problems of the 2000 Chrysler Town & Country

Two problems related to brake electric antilock have been reported for the 2000 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Failure Date: 02/04/2000

While driving vehicle suddenly accelerated, and braking system malfunctioned, causing driver to place vehicle in neutral and turn off engine. Driver restarted vehicle, and engine was idling high. Then driver turned off the engine. Please provide further information.

2 Brake Electric Antilock problem

Failure Date: 01/17/2000

Driving in the city vehicle in front stopped suddenly. Consumer slammed on brakes. Underneath dash there is a box that has a cover which is part of the console electric component. When the consumer slammed on the brakes the brake pedal caught the edge of the sole. His left foot which he was bracing slid off the box, vehicle lost control. Dealer contacted, denies responsibility.
