The contact owns a 2000 Chrysler town and country. The contact stated that while attempting to start the vehicle, the lights on the instrument cluster would not illuminate and the engine would not start. After starting the vehicle and while driving, the gauges on the instrument cluster would flicker on and off. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who was unable to diagnosed the cause of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 170,000.
