Power Window problems of the 2005 Chrysler Town & Country

Four problems related to power window have been reported for the 2005 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Power Window problem

Failure Date: 07/18/2008

Drivers side window suddenly started to malfunction; would not go up after rolling it down, or would not stop when button was no longer pressed. Window had to be pulled back up manually. Yesterday, the window suddenly fell into the door. Other complaints about this appear elsewhere on the internet.

2 Power Window problem

Failure Date: 03/08/2008

The front left window does not work. I have heard that Chrysler vehicles have this problem my nephew's Jeep also had this problem and it is expensive to repair. There must be a defect in the window motor, please advise.

3 Power Window problem

Failure Date: 11/10/2006

The drivers side window sometimes will go up or down very slowly even pauses or stops then resumes there have even been times where the window does not raise or lower it will start then become frozen or refuse to work then all of a sudden it will work slowly then out of the blue, it will speed up and close very fast it is not working properly it has to be an electrical or motor problem for window.

4 Power Window problem

Failure Date: 09/16/2005

Driver side power window will not go down right now. Window has been used less than 10 times. I had a previous Town & Country with same problem. When window did go down it would not go back up. It will have to go into the dealer for service.
