1 Visibility problem

Failure Date: 07/28/2014

The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler town and country. The contact stated that while parked, the passenger's side sliding door window exploded while closed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 280,000.

2 Visibility problem

Failure Date: 10/28/2010

It first started by failing to turn on after a few times of trying to turn on the lights on the dash. It then progressed by turning off while driving in the city. It worked for a few months without incident until 2 months ago. After a cold start the lights would come on but after driving it to the store about 3-4 miles away and restarting the car it has failed repeatedly. I believe this to be a serious safety issue. I've had to drive home by manually holding the high beams on to get home. There was almost an accident due to this problem.

3 Visibility problem

Failure Date: 12/24/2008

The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler town and country. While driving 65 mph, the driver's side mirror failed and detached from the vehicle. Prior to the failure, the mirror shook, but the contact was able to reseat the mirror. She called the dealer and the replacement part was ordered. The vehicle will be repaired. The contact is in the process of notifying the manufacturer. The failure mileage was 53,500 and current mileage was 53,900.

4 Visibility problem

Failure Date: 06/10/2008

Driver's side window stopped working consistently six months ago and now does not work at all. Passenger side window worked fine until four months ago and stopped all of a sudden and has not worked since. This problem started less than six months after the manufacturer's warranty expired.
