On 01\29\2020, the abs, brake, and traction control warning lights displayed on the dash. Now into winter, the vehicle no longer has traction control and abs. Diagnostics reveal that the abs module has proper powers and grounds even under load. 2 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 05/15/2019

My car ran fine and had no problems. One foggy morning however, I was driving and stopped at a stop light. While pressing the brake, the engine suddenly revved up. The car lurched me toward the stop light. I took it to the dealer, but he didn't find any problem. This happened again one rainy day. The engine started revving. The car lurched me toward while I pressed the brake. And now its been doing it for a few month.

3 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 04/11/2019

Similar to recall campaign id 14v343000: my vehicle while in motion has experience engine shutoff. This subsequently disables power steering, brakes, and airbags. Twice, in as many weeks, this has occurred on city streets.

4 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 05/15/2017

While traveling down hill in my neighborhood at approximately 15-20mph my 2005 Chrysler town and country shut down. I did not notice if any check engine lights came in because I was just focused on not hitting anything or dying. However I did notice that the gas hand said it was on e, the speedometer said 0, and the temperature gage was at the coolest setting. The breaks stoped working completely and the steering wheel was very hard to turn. If it had not been for the speed bumps in my are hood I would have wrecked for sure. Thankfully I didn't and inwas able to slowy make the turn (with a lot of effort) I needed to at the end of the hill. The headlights and the radio did work the entire time. Once I was able to stop the van completely I turned the key to the off position and restated it. It did start on the 1st try and I was able to make it home (less then 1 mile away). I am now terrified to drive it because no one can figure out what is wrong with it. The van has been kept in good shape, oil changes, scheduled maintenance, etc. And it's never been in an accident.

5 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 02/22/2017

I usually have my van in the garage. I went to a friend's and kept it outside. The weather was -20 degrees, and when I was driving home on a highway and I lost my brakes. The model I have has a recall for the exact thing. So how do I find out about this recall?.

6 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 07/27/2015

I just picked up the car after getting recall r03 performed at fowler Dodge in oklahoma city. I had never had the problem that was stated in the recall but was advised to get it fixed anyway. On my way home from the dealership on 07/27/15 at approx. 1800 hrs. I hit a bump and the key fob went to the off position leaving me with out power steering , brakes, and engine. That is what the recall was suspose to fix. The one problem I had never had with the vehicle, now I am having it after the recall.

7 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 04/11/2014

The vehicle experiences sudden power failures. The engine shuts off while mobile with a sudden loss of power steering and brakes. It is very dangerous as I could have lost control or been rear ended. Internet research has noted that dealers have diagnosed that the evaporator valve in the fuel tank was defective and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure but did not offer any assistance.

8 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 05/18/2013

There was no accident. I have a 2005 Chrysler and yesterday it made a sound as if the rear brakes were bad. So far I have found the cast backing plate has no threads in one of the two boltholes and the allen head size of the bolts is different. The fact that the hole has no threads is scary; the brake could have come off if the other bolt had worked out. Different allen head size is also unbelievable? I think that the casting was flawed or faulty during manufacturing. I then checked the web and found this to be a problem with others? so I was wondering if this problem had been reported and if a recall is in work.

9 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 01/26/2013

Stepped on the brake pedal and it went to the floor at approx 68,500 miles. I had to pump the brakes to stop. It happened once before but then had not happened for quite a while, but yesterday it happened again. The ambient temperature at the time was approx 15 degrees f. Today the brakes did the same thing in the morning at approx 9:30 am but at approx 4 pm they seemed ok. The ambient temperature at 4 pm was approx 33 degrees f. Is there any recall for this problem?.

10 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 04/05/2010

I have a 2005 Chrysler town&country minivan with $32k miles. I am looking at my second brake job. This is my 3rd minivan - the two I owned previously brakes lasted 50k miles or more!!!!!!! is this just a way for Chrysler repair shops to make more money???? ps I have no idea what the equipment description is for the brakes made by Chrysler - I just know they stink!!!.

11 Service Brakes problem

Failure Date: 06/05/2006

The contact owns a 2005 Chrysler town and country. On several occasions, the abs indicator would flash and fail to turn off on the instrument panel. The braking system has not failed. The dealer stated that the fuse needed to be replaced and they repaired the vehicle. A couple of weeks later, while driving at an unknown speed, the indicator illuminated again and failed to dim. The vehicle was returned to the dealer, but they found no failures. The mechanic stated that the illumination of the abs indicator did not necessarily mean that a failure was occurring. The vehicle has not been repaired. The contact is in the process of notifying the manufacturer. The failure mileage was 15,000 and current mileage was 42,000.
