Three problems related to structure have been reported for the 2005 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Structure problem

Failure Date: 11/09/2009

When attempting to change a tire on my 2005 Chrysler Town & Country I dropped the tire from under the body of the car as designed. Reaching under the vehicle from the passenger side I put my hand over the top of the tire and pulled it toward me. My hand became wedged between the tire and the exhaust pipe resulting in second degree burns to the top of my hand.

2 Structure problem

Failure Date: 03/07/2008

My 3 year old son had his fingers closed completely in the sliding passenger door. The door was fully latched with his little fingers caught in them.

3 Structure problem

Failure Date: 10/04/2004

The interior rear floor on passenger side gets extremely hot. Seat brackets on floor also get very hot. I've had 4 children burn their feet and hands, also myself. Vehicle was inspected by technician and service director and Chrysler distict manager. . . All heat shields are in position. . . No modifications or repairs made.
