One problem related to automatic transmission gear indicator has been reported for the 2006 Chrysler Town & Country. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Car parked on level surface with engine running & in park. Looked out of the 2nd floor window approximately 2 to 3 minutes later and the car was moving, entered the garage (door opened) and ran into the wall, making a hole in the wall and minor scratching of the front fender. The car was still running and the gear was in drive. Filed a police report since I was showing this home for sale and couldn't figure out why it started moving after 2 to 3 minutes of idling. Below date is an approximate one. Unsure of exact date at this time but would probably show up on the police report. Estimate about $200 for wall repair.
