The contact owns a 2007 Chrysler town and country. The contact stated that while attempting to replace a tire by utilizing the factory jack that came equipped with the vehicle, the jack failed and awkwardly bent outward from the weight of the vehicle. The failure caused the vehicle to crash to the ground. The contact stated that the manufacturer sent an engineer to inspect the jack. The manufacturer sent him a letter stating that they had not found a malfunction with the jack. The failure mileage was unknown, but the current mileage was 83,000.
