6 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 09/28/2013

We were exiting a parking lot and pulling out onto a main road when the horn started honking, the windshield wipers started full speed (both front and back with constant wiper fluid), the interior lights flashed, all the interior warning lights were on, and the headlights shut off. We pulled into the next parking lot & turned the van off, but the horn kept going off for at least 5 minutes along with the wiper, lights, etc. We started it up again with the same results. We were so thankful we were not on the highway yet as we could easily have been killed! we left the van in a nearby parking lot for the night and tried to take it to a dealership the next morning, but they didn't have any open appts till later this week. I'm not sure I could ever feel safe driving this vehicle again as I've read a lot of the same complaints about this make/model/year and it seems like it keeps happening without warning. This is very dangerous & I don't feel safe driving my children around in it!.

7 Headlights problem

The following has been happening for over a week now. When starting my vehicle, the wipers independently turned on, the headlights flashed every time the wipers where deployed independently. The wiper and light on/off was checked. Turned off and on, and still both items flashed, and swiped by themselves. January 29th, operator was driving 25 mph, all dash lights blinked, including but not limited to, esp, brake, engine, and airbag lights, airbag light remained on, wipers deployed and rpm gauge reduced to 0 for 5 seconds. Pulled over turned ignition off, opened door, shut door restarted vehicle. The above repeated itself, with more errors, now the driver window controls did no longer work. This happened repeatedly for 5 full minutes before resuming normal operation.

14 Headlights problem

Failure Date: 11/15/2008

We was having problems with our headlights going out on our 2008 town and country van we took it to the dealership to have it looked at and they said it was the headlamp switch so we ordered one and went back up to replace it and they had the wrong switch so they had to order another on and we had to return to put the right headlamp switch in. That did not fix the problem, so we took it back to the dealership and they replaced the tipm module and returned the van we went on a family vacation just for the day and came home that evening when we figured out that they did not fix the problem. So once again we returned to the dealership and they gave us a loaner car if that's what you want to call it and they had it for several days and they replaced a censor that controls the headlights. I just got it back and not sure if they are fixed or not but they said that they are fixed. If it turns out that they are not fixed we will not return to the dealership to fix the headlights again we will find another dealership to take it to. I was not treated to best and I got none of my fuel replaced from the dealership after it took them this many times to fix it and they drove it around we gave them permission but out of the courtesy of the dealership they could of replaced my fuel considering the loaner car they gave me they said that I had to return it with the same amount of gas that I left the lot with. Now that doesn't seem fair to me does it you.
