Tl the contact owns a 2009 Chrysler town and country. The contact stated that the low beam headlights and turn signals stopped working and the horn continuously sounded. The contact had to remove the fuse in order to stop the horn failure. The manufacturer acknowledged the failure with the lights; however, they could not assist with the repair cost since there was no recall. The dealer (courtesy motor sales inc, 3100 pleasant valley blvd, altoona, PA 16602, (814) 942-9000) offered to schedule an appointment with an upfront fee for diagnostic testing. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 162,000.
On 10/13/2014, highway driving, used turn signal to pass another vehicle, when returning to original lane and turning off turn signal, the turn signal started blinking the opposite way, thinking I had missed the neutral position tried again, started blinking the opposite way. This went on for at least 2 minutes then finally stopped. On 10/28/2014, started vehicle in driveway and all dash indicator lights came on along with windshield wipers, the radio display was blank like it was off, but there was sound (radio display has been ongoing issue since we purchased vehicle in 2012). Turned vehicle off and tried to restart with same issue. Turned off and let sit for several minutes and condition went away. Next incident was on 10/31/2014. Was idling in a parking spot and the windshield wipers turned on along with the security light in the dash. This stopped within 30 seconds. Then while driving about 15 minutes later about 25mph, all dash indicator lights came on along with windshield wipers and lights inside of the van. Pulled over to side of road and turned off vehicle for a few minutes and restarted with no issues.
The contact owns a 2009 Chrysler town and country. The contact stated that the turn signal indicator fractured on the front driver and passenger side mirrors. The vehicle was taken to a dealer on three occasions. On the first occasion, the side view mirror assembly was replaced, but the failure recurred with the lens detaching intermittently. The dealer replaced the lens twice. The vehicle was repaired and the manufacturer was notified. The VIN was not available. The failure mileage was not available.
