1 Radio/tape Cd Player problem

Failure Date: 03/14/2018

We have had continuous problems with the engine stalling while driving. Sometime the dash lights, radio, outside lights flicker before the engine quits. After pulling to the side of the road, the key will not come out of the ignition. No lights will be on when turning to acc or on position. The door locks will not operate. Nothing works. We have nothing attached to the ignition key. I have tried wiggling, pushing, pulling on the key to get it to work. Nothing! then randomly, everything comes back on and the engine will start. We have not had an accident, yet! but if these issues continue, we will. Troubleshooting doesn't do much good because it is so random.

2 Radio/tape Cd Player problem

Failure Date: 09/09/2017

My vehicle almost daily will stall out and die while in motion on roadways. The traction control light comes on, the power steering fails and the car dies. This generally happens between 30-40 mph and often times multiple times a day. The radio and other components will remain on but I have to turn it off and pump it to get it to restart. I have seen hundreds of forums that list this as a current complaint with this year range of town and country's.

3 Radio/tape Cd Player problem

Failure Date: 08/17/2015

We had just filled up the gas tank and we're ready to get on the highway when the radio shut off. It came back on after 2 minutes without any interference. This alarmed us as lately we have had a hard time starting the car and also the steering wheel goes rigid sometimes and the car stops. Our dealer has checked and tells us there is no problem.

4 Radio/tape Cd Player problem

Failure Date: 09/01/2014

Our van has issues w/the key fob. We can no longer remove from the ignition,if we do,it may not start again & if it does it takes up to an hr. Many times while driving the electrical system shuts off, radio, wiper, lights. . . Everything. For it to work again we have 2 options, the unsafe jiggling of the fob hoping th electrical returns and thevan doesnt shut off,or the safer option of pulling over where ever we may be,turning off van and back on. I was driving down a skinny rd,no place on the side to stop. I had my infant with me,it was 83 degree, windows up ac on. The electric failed,ac off and I was unable to put windows down and had no place to pull over while going around a blind corner. I had to drive while the van was heating up fast inside until I found a driveway I could pull into, turn off van and back on so I could put windows down. Of,course when I stopped I I opened my door (unable to open the back doors because of electric failure) I went in the back to check on my baby who was sweating. This is unacceptable. My electric should never fail while driving. My key fob should not operate as it does. I have read many complaints similar ro mine. My husband actually came a cross a couple in the grocery store parking lot with the same key fob issue, they took it out and couldn't get their van to start agian. Chrysler should be responsible for this and should place a recall on the electric and key fob. It is very unsafe,I have contatced Chrysler and they just blew me off. I will be contacting them againa and againa and again until, hopefully something is done.

5 Radio/tape Cd Player problem

Failure Date: 12/18/2013

My van has shut off completely with no warning approximately 2-5 times a month since December 2013. I have taken it to the dealer 5 times and they have been unable to fix the issue. I have almost been hit several times with my children in the car. There is no warning I lose steering but the power like the radio stays on. The last time this happened 4/3/2013 I also lost my breaks. They say since they cant replicate the problem its not their concern. They have replaced my win module twice as well as my keys.

6 Radio/tape Cd Player problem

Failure Date: 10/01/2013

The head lights no longer work, the car cuts off at random, radio windows are possessed. This has all be attributed to a faulty tipm.

7 Radio/tape Cd Player problem

Failure Date: 03/01/2012

My husband took my 2010 chrylser Town & Country van to the dealer for the ignition recall. When he arrived home he explained to me that when he left the dealer he had no electric in the vehicle. He returned to the dealer and they told him that he had to be careful not to turn the ignition too far to the left or this would happen. This was suppose to correct a problem not create a new one. I would have thought that NHTSA would have reviewed the fix of the ignition issue and insured that it did not create yet another problem. I returned to the dealer and told them to return my car to the original equipment since I felt the repair was much worse then the risk that resulted in the recall. When will NHTSA take these issues seriously enough to ensure that the supposedly correction of an issue does not cause a greater concern? I had no lights, no radio, no handsfree phone connection once the "recall parts" were installed.

8 Radio/tape Cd Player problem

Failure Date: 02/01/2012

We purchased our 2010 van in December 2011. A couple of months later we were just driving down the road and, at first, we thought the van shut off, but it was just the radio, a/c, power windows, etc. That stopped working. My husband jiggled the key and everything started back up again. Throughout the event, the engine continued running. The funny thing is we did not bump anything in the road. It just shut off. We were not aware of any recall until recently. Another issue is we have also had an issue with our key not working because we are told there is something wrong with the win module. We have actually been locked out of our vehicle, because we would have to replace the win module in order to get a new key that will actually work with the vehicle. I am not sure if this is linked to other faulty win modules that I have read about.
