While vehicle was being driven on neighborhood street, approx 25mph it lost transmission engagement and the engine began to rev, the vehicle then came to a screeching halt and would not move. Vehicle was turned off and then started again, moving from park, the transmission would not engage. Told by mechanic that transmission needs to be replaced due to complete failure.
