The horn and cruise control stopped working and the airbag light came on. It would not pass inspection. It happend while in motion and stationary. They said that the clock spring was broken and needed to be replaced. There is a recall on the 1996-1998 models for the broken clockspring but not the 2001. I see lots of comments that this is an issue beyond those model years included in the recall. They need to extend the recall beyond 1998 since this is an issue with more than those 2 years!.

I have 2001 Chrysler Voyager. Problem is when I turn my wheel the air bag light comes on. The problem is the clock spring. I found out that there was a recall on this item between 1998-2000. The dealer is not going to take responsibility for it. I had this problem about 2 years after I purchased the car. I like to file an official complaint.
