The contact owns a 2001 Chrysler Voyager. While driving approximately 2 mph, the contact heard a squeaking noise in the front end of the vehicle. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for a diagnostic test. There was a recall under NHTSA campaign id number 01v152000 (suspension:front:control arm:lower arm), that may be related to the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the VIN was not included in the recall. The contact stated that the date and location where the vehicle was manufactured matched the information of the included vehicles in the recall. The contact believed the vehicle should have been included in the recall. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 78,000.
