2001 Chrysler Voyager developed problems with the air conditioner. While the consumer was on a long cross country trip the a/c began to make strange noises. The noises continued until the consumer turned off the a/c. The consumer had to drive in 115 degree heat with no a/c. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who determined that the compressor had malfunctioned and damaged other parts in the engine.
