The contact owns a 2020 Chrysler Voyager. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact was not able to brake even though the brake pedal was fully depressed. The contact crashed into some logs because the brakes failed. The air bags did not deploy. The contact was going 45mph at the time of the crash. The vehicle was towed to a yard. No warning light was illuminated. No police report was filed. The vehicle had not been diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 26,500.

I had over 40 complaints with NHTSA. Fuel leak - vehicle can go on fire,fumes intoxicating in vehicle through vents. . Every mechanic," vehicle can go on fire. " 2. Electrical- all gages would go crazy while driving - had no idea what speed I was going. 3. 3x all brake fluid leaked out while driving - no brakes 4. Failed inspection repeatedly - engine light always on and airbag light 5. Large evap leak, small evap leak 6. Vehicle slipped out of gear 7. Brakes - hydraulic, bushels, bearings every imaginable problem. Purchased vehicle with 20,00 miles only got to put 50,000. Repairs cost more then price of vehicle. I am disabled, was to be mommy van. Can't tell you how many," recall request,," numbers were given. No one did a thing to help. Fca voided warranty without telling me. Told me to sell vehicle to someone else despite reporting with proof can go on fire. Fuel rail unrepairable due to recall. Meaning I was sold vehicle with recalled part. Followed warranty booklet, protocols. So much rust more then undercarriage through vehicle. Mechanic wrote," too dangerous too repair. " dangerous vehicle all I used it for was to get to medical appointments. You would think happy to take my disability money but do not care if I burn death in vehicle or child. Now just stranded. Will never trust anything with Chrysler name on it. Basically, purchased a moving trauma. Have all proof, so do they and NHTSA.

I was driving to florida, NY and suddenly had no brakes. This is 3rd time. The vehicle only has 74,000 miles on it. I have put a multitude of complaints regarding this vehicle. I have submitted at least 20 receipts for now 3x no brakes. Fuel rail leak. Unfixable. No parts in u. S. And canada due to part recall the year I baught vehicle. Manufacturer, illegally cancelled warranty without telling me. Have letter from them. Reported to original warranty booklet instructions. They did nothing. Disabled woman sold a lemon. Failed inspection for years due too gas leak. Told can go on fire. Repaired all out of my pocket. No brakes again while driving??? car will be towed tomorrow. Will have info to upload. You have all my receipts already.

This vehicle was purchased with 20,000 miles for $9,000, along with an extended warranty from mopar for 10 years or 100,000 miles. This vehicle failed inspection numerous years due too engine light being on. Large evap leak and small evap leak. 2. Fuel pump leaking gas. Told not to drive can go on fire. No parts due too recall before I purchased the vehicle. None in the u. S. And canada. 3. 3x while driving had no brakes. 4. Air bag light always on. Told it wont deploy fixed it back on. 5. Dials on dashboard go crazy, low to hi over and over. No idea what speed or gears as the gears get a square around them and move back and fourth. 6. Lights- barely visible, go on and off 7. Child car seat belt does not work properly. Had to create a makeshift one. Parts replaced to date: catalytic converter part infront of catalytic converter hydraulic master brake cylinder. Bearings2x now car in drive way with no brakes computer electrical gas cap serpentine belt melted starter windshield wipers 5x keeps detaching cant use defog, heat or a/c- gas fumes come in through vents , intoxicating and makes you lightheaded so much more. . . . . All in all I haven't put 50,000 miles on this vehicle. Manufacturer claims the warranty for fuel pump expired before I owned the vehicle. Manufacturer cancelled my warranty without telling me. Yet knew how to contact me in 2016 for speaker fire recall. 2 tires blew out. Replaced all 4. 2 x muffler enormous rust no accidents, miraculously. Have been putting in endless complaints with NHTSA. No one does anything. I have spent more than the price of the vehicle and undrivable. Pit in complaints where original warranty booklet states, eastern michigan, bbb, candice rugenstein. States they are small non- profit. I am disabled since 1993. My home health aide at that time submitted all receipts and proof for used car lemon law. They than claimed they did not get it. After sheer hell they found it and denied it. This vehicle is defective.

Fuel rail leaking gas. Fumes inside and outside of vehicle, makes you ver lightheaded and groggy, afraid if someone lights match will ignite. Have to get out and air out car;cannot use defog, heat, or keep vents open , gas fumes get worse. Blinded by not being able to use defog, windshield gets foggy 2. All dials going from low to high repeatedly, loss of control of car very scary. Do not know how fast your driving, like extra terrestrial event. Have been pulled over by police 2x no brakes while driving ***engine light on since few months after I baught car for $9,000 with 24,000. Miles and ten year warranty. ***failed inspection every single year manufacturer would nit honor warranty. Baught in 2004, with 10 years or 80,000. Miles. Chrysler said warranty terminated 2004??? every time you call warranty department they give me different year one employee, stephani said," strange, computer shows warranty terminated effective immediately!! of couse, after I call with problem. They never let me speak to her again. Supposed to e mail it to me. Car sear fie baby does not stay locked in. Seat going side to side, dangerous, baby threw up no steering suddenly, smells likw smok,serpentine belt melted vehicle slips out of gear, very scary u put in drive suddenly in reverse key gets stuck in ignition then wheel locks, cant get key in or out lights foggy, not bright at night light bulb broke inside light panel, no accidents vehicle hardly driven, 67,000 miles to date lost back seat. !!! car went into reverse while in park,fell out of back break pedal pressing to the bottom, would not stop. Brake pedal fell off. Side doors jam while trying to open, button release doesnt always work rain although everything closed, water appears trapped between side.

Consumer stated that while driving in inclement weather, the back end of the vehicle locked up. This almost resulted in a collision. The consumer took vehicle to the dealer and they kept it for approximately 10 days. The dealer told consumer that they put a retainer plate on the vehicle. When this problem happened the second time, the dealer told consumer that they could not reproduce the problem and that this was a seasonal problem which would not happened all the time.
