1 Brake antilock defect investigations of Saturn SKY vehicles

This investigation was opened on Mar. 6, 2008. It was closed on Jun. 24, 2008. In model year (my) 2007, pontiac solstice and Saturn sky vehicles equipped with the 2. 0l turbocharged engine used an auxiliary vacuum pump to supplement the engine as a source of vacuum to the brake booster during low vacuum conditions, such as immediately after a cold start.

2 Driveline differential unit defect investigations of Saturn SKY vehicles

This investigation was opened on Jul. 17, 2007. It was closed on Dec. 27, 2007. This investigation resulted in a vehicle safety recall.
odi evaluated two different alleged defects involving rear drivetrain components during this preliminary evaluation. Gm is conducting a recall to address one of the defect conditions and odi has opened an engineering analysis to continue its investigation of the other alleged defect.

3 Interior/under dash wiring defect investigations of Saturn SKY vehicles

The office of defects investigation (odi) received a petition on December 12, 2019 requesting an investigation of the hvac blower motor connector in model year (my) 2007-2010 Saturn sky and 2006-2010 pontiac solstice vehicles. The petition itself can be reviewed at NHTSA.
