Recall Summary:On certain trucks equipped with caterpillar c7 or c9 diesel engines, a fuel pump failure will dilute the engine oil with fuel and may cause the turbocharger to fail and cause loss of throttle control with warning.
How to Fix:Ford is working with caterpillar to have the fuel pump replaced free of charge (please see 07e053). Owners may contact caterpillar at 309-675-6496 or Ford at 1-800-392-3673.
