Recall Summary:Altec industries inc. (altec) is recalling certain model year 1999-2014 aerial devices models a65, a70, a75, a72-, a/77-t, a82-t, a72-te88, and a77-te93 manufactured January 1, 1999, to July 15, 2014. The affected aerial devices may have an improperly set hydraulic pressure transducer which relieves excessive backpressure in the hydraulic tank circuit.
How to Fix:Altec will notify owners, and dealers will replace and install a pressure switch, free of charge. The recall began in January 16, 2015. Owners may contact altec customer service at 1-205-991-7733. Altec's number for this recall is csn 609.
