Recall Summary:
ford motor company (ford) is recalling certain 2023-2024 transit vehicles equipped with a transit trail package. the electronic power assist steering (epas) ground eyelet joint may experience corrosion, which can result in a loss of power steering assist.
How to Fix:
dealers will install a new epas ground pigtail kit, free of charge. owner notification letters are expected to be mailed august 5, 2024. owners may contact ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. ford's number for this recall is 24s46.
