My 2008 Dodge Avenger airbag light has been on for a while, I believe that’s something that is defective and should be fixed by the manufacture. I’d called a dealership and was told it was not a recall and therefore not covered. When the wipers are turned on in the morning and then turned off, they continue to wipe even turned off. When I use the right blinker, the light in the dashboard dims seems like an electrical problem. I believe other things might be wrong but I’m not a mechanic. Takata recall. - I am approximately 2 years old with the light from the driver's airbag turned on all the time. I had it reviewed and I was informed that it is a defect in the bag and that it will not be opened in the event of an incident. Two years have passed and no revision is called for replacement. With the shift lever I was sent by Chrysler a notice to carry out a revision, I did it and today after 2 years being in a street stopped and trying to make the change to drive I could never move it I just got stuck and could not drive more. How many more times will I have to call to do something about it? because I had to pay my composure and Chrysler refused to reimburse me for that money arguing that my car is no longer guaranteed !!!!!.

Takata recall- I have been in two accidents with my Dodge Avenger 08. First was when I hit a deer my entire body was slammed into the steering column, knew out teeth and broke bones months ago, no airbag deployed nor did not seatbelt engage. The car was in motion travelling about 40 miles an hour. The second accident was run off the road by a van travelling in the the midle of the road coming directoy at me. I had to serve hard right, I ended up in a deep ditch in which I slwmmed into a cement wasii again no airbag, no seatbelt, hit my head so hard I was knowcked ucounisious, servaer facial trama, back, neck and head. Still have no short term menory as well as severe back painl this has ruined my life ,.

I was driving around a curve in the road a little too fast and the car slid on loose gravel. It spun around once and hit a telephone box, spun around a second time and slammed against the inside of a ditch. On 1/12/12 at about 545am I was driving to work on a rainy day. While traveling on 95 north bound at about 55mph my wiper blades stop working and so did my steering wheel. My steering column was not controling my wheels and I hydroplained while trying to stop my car. My car spun around numerous times before slamming into the median wall. I have had many malfunctions with this vehicle but this one topped them all. I have been out of work since this day with injuries caused by this accident, I could have been killed. I contacted the corporate office of Dodge and was basically told I was s. O. L. . Now I'm stuck with no vehicle and I'm out of work because of it. My waranty on my car has expired and my insurance company will only pay for the damage that was caused from the accident not the problem that caused the accident. So what am I to do?.
I was in a 2008 Dodge Avenger that was a rental car. I was driving through a construction area when the truck in front of me slammed on its brakes. I was going below the 55 mph speed limit, and had a safe distance between me and the truck in front of me. When I slammed on my brakes, the car did not stop. I pressed harder and the car slowed down but did not stop until it hit the truck in front of me. There was definitely a brake failure. Then the air bag exploded instead of deploying leaving me with burns on both arms and hands. Since then the rental car company has told me there have been 4 recalls on this vehicle.
