I am heavily disappointed. I went home to louisiana for easter and it rained quite a bit. I was packing to go home and prior to went to clean out my vehicle to include my trunk. When I pulled everything out. . . Liners and all, the left side of my trunk underneath the liners was soaked. The gray padding on even on the side of the trunk was was wet. I came back home to kansas, yesterday it was the same. We had a storm roll through and again my trunk was even more soaked. I have taken everything out and dried it out, however w the current rain, it does no good. I now do not have a pleasant smell in my trunk. When I read reviews, its apparent that this has been an issue with the Dodge vehicle as well as a few other products, how they heck is it ok to acknowledge the problem yet make no effort to fix it and now I have to pay for it? I switched from a Nissan altima to this car, big mistake. My Nissan would have never let me down, and Nissan would have never kept putting the same mistake out there. I have owned three two of which I bought used at, at least 3 years old and one brand new no miles and never once any problems. I was never let down. I bought this Dodge 2/8/13, barely 60 days old to me and already pissed off. Way to go Dodge.

The contact owns a 2010 Dodge Avenger. The contact stated that the metal pillar between the rear glass and smallest rear passenger window was very wide which blocked the view. The contact was unable to see when it was necessary to merge or change lanes. The dealer stated that they could not assist. The failure mileage was 500 and the current mileage was 13,000. Updated 02/23/11 the consumer stated there was no failure, just a potential for a failure of the metal pillar blocking too much of the rear view. Updated 02/28/11.

Chrome piece around and on shifter reflect the sun into the driver and passenger face making it difficult/very dangerous while driving. Chrysler has nothing to put over or even replace these pieces. On bright days for a two hour time period this happens.

The contact owns a 2010 Dodge Avenger. The contact stated that when opening the trunk during or following moderate to heavy rains, water would drain directly into the trunk. The manufacturer advised that his model vehicle was designed in that manner and would not provide any assistance. The contact was concerned with the possibility of hazardous mold and mildew growing in the vehicle. The vehicle was left in the dealers possession. The failure and current mileages were approximately 3,000.

The consumer experienced a problem with the air bag compartment in the dash. The air bag is lifting about one inch above the dash . The consumer feels that in case of an accident the air bags will not deploy. Owner contacted the manufacturer who says the repair will be the owner's expense.
