I was made aware of safety recall s61/ NHTSA 16v-668 via mail on Monday the 21st and have made multiple calls and emails to the fiat Chrysler automotive company. As of right now there is no firm eta for the repair as parts are not available or in existence yet. They think January but are not sure. I do not consider 45days a "reasonable time" to wait for a safety fix for a vehicle. They have offered to reimburse me for a rental but I am not in a position where I can put out $1,200 per month and await to be paid back for the next several months.

Received notice of loss of air bag and seat belt pretensioner deployment in a crash. Repairs made to the suspension, tyi-rod totaling over $1000. 00 in repairs and loss of a car so could not make it to work. This car iis not safe and I am not comfortable driving it with these known recalls. I believe I should be given a safe, camparable replacement. Why am I asked to place my life at risk as well as any one that would accompany me in my car? I am requesting a full refund or a new car. While making a turn on a circle, I car completely spun around. A truck was behind me and I was lucky that time but who knows about the next time????.

I own a 2011 Dodge Caliber with a recall for loss of air bag and set belt pretensioner deployment capability. I do not want to drive my car due to this safety issue in addition to having children in my car. I cannot even get a reasonable trade offer due to this. I am told that the parts my not be available until June 16, 2016. This is a serious danger to my family and a huge financial loss for trade in. Dealerships should at least give maximum trade for this vehicle and they can wait for the repair parts until they can sell it rather than put the public at risk and financial loss due to the lower value of trade to to this situation.

There is a recall on these parts on my automobile and there are no parts available to repair. I am worried and nervous about this possibly failing in my car due to all the past incidents with takata airbags. I would like to have this remedied if not sooner rather than later. This has increased my risk to danger and as a result I am no longer confident in the vehicle's performance. The manufacturer has not provided any timeline on when this issue will be resolved.

Notified in September 2016 of a recall on this car but no remedy at that time was available. As of today, may 6, 2017, there is still no remedy. The parts affected with this recall could contribute to increased risk for injury in a crash. The response time for a remedy is unacceptable in my opinion. Please investigate!!.
What is a resonable time to wait for a car manufactuer to come up with a solution or begin fixing problem?.
My vehicle has had a recall since September 2016. It is now almost may 2017, and the remedy is still unavailable for my vehicle. Not only have I had to drive around an unsafe vehicle, dealerships will not accept my trade because of the nature of the recall. I feel like I am stuck in an unsafe vehicle and I worry every time my family and I get into my car because we are not fully protected if an accident were to occur. Please help!!!.
There is currently a recall on the vehicle potential loss of air bag and seat belt pretensioners deployment during a crash due to a shorting condition. It has been since September 2016 since we received this recall notice and there is still no resolution. There are other issues as well regarding our electrical system in our vehicle. The wiring system for our lights has gone bad and have been recommended to replace the wiring. This vehicle has issues that need resolving and I believe over 6 months of waiting on a fix to the air bag/seat belt recall has been way too long. When checking their website it says no remedy available still. I do not feel safe driving in this car.

"takata recall" I have a 2012 Dodge Caliber and the horn has suddenly stopped working and I am unsure why. The horn is located in the airbag assembly and because of this I have not been able to get it replaced. I don't understand why a horn on a 4 year old car would suddenly stop working, and if it's not the horn it would be the airbag. The car has not been in a collision, nor has the airbag been deployed so I still don't understand why this is occurring. I have googled the issue and numerous people with the same vehicle different years are experiencing the same issue, but Chrysler is refusing to deem it a recall issue. One night I was awaken to my horn/alarm going off, but the vehicle was inside a closed garage. The horn won't blow if pressed, but will later blow on it's on if you attempt to press it. There is an issue in the steering column because as I was driving down an interstate it began to blow, and in order to stop it from blowing I had to move the horn pad up and down. This cannot be normal.

My husband was driving and I was the passenger. 12/23/15. The car was a 2007 Dodge Caliber. Approx 80,000 miles on it. No prior accidents. A car turned into driver side. My husband was not hurt. Both cars going approx 10 miles an hour. I was hit with air bag. I received a broken rib, new bridge completely knocked out(or should I say in. ). My back, neck, ankle still give me a lot of pain today. My body bruised head to toe. Concussion.

My vehicle is still waiting to be serviced for the recall for the airbags. Also my windshield wipers come on randomly when I turn on my turn signal. This problem has been going on since April of 2015, a month after I got the vehicle.
Horn and airbag both failed making the vehicle unsafe. Dodge refuses to fix the problem.
