Conusmer has an integrated child seat and the belt tightened up around the child's neck when trying to get her out. Consumer was going to cut it, but managed to slide child's head underneath the belt. Dealer has not been contacted.
Intregrated child seat which folds outof either seat does not work due to a broken cable which prevents the seat from locking, and causing the child to slide forward. Parts have yet to be replaced. Please provide any further details.
Integrated child safety seat locked up and got tighter.
The retracting seat belts in the intergrated child safety seats are catching the child's hair. Dealer has no solution.
We have built in child seats in this car. The straps on the car seats do not retract properly, so the seats are unsafe. One seat has been heavily used, the other stopped retracting on first few uses. Worse there is no place to get these seats repaired. Dodge has offered one location, about an hour away. Where the seat could be repaired at standard automotive repair rates. In fact when I called this location they could not do it. Note this means that Dodge is comfortable with two unsafe child seats in this vehicle. Dt.
Consumer had to cut the strap on the integrated seat in order to remove the child, the seat was under recall 98v-0185 but could not be repaired due to lack of parts. Nlm.
Integrated child safety seat design of the yolk/cable joint is weak, resulting in breakage, this part actuates the locking mechanism, when broken the seat belt does not lock properly. Mjs.
