1 Automatic Transmission Cooler problem

Failure Date: 04/20/2004

While the vehicle was parked, the consumer noticed that oil was leaking from underneath the vehicle. The consumer called the dealer and was informed that the problem could be with the cooler hose on the transmission and to be safe not to run it with it being dry of oil.

2 Automatic Transmission Cooler problem

Failure Date: 02/01/2002

Automatic transmission failure. 2000 Dodge Caravan. With only 54000miles, it felt like it was losing acceleration uphill. Immediately pulled over. Towed to dealership and they said a hydralic hose broke and that the tranny would have to be rebuilt to the tune of $2700! get real. These trannies are obviously having problems!.

3 Automatic Transmission Cooler problem

Failure Date: 04/11/2001

Noted leakage of transmission fluid form underside of engine - down close to 1 qt. In 3,000 miles. Problem traced to loose coolant clamps at radiator. Servie department indicated they ahd seen many of these lately.
