The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 mph, the dash board lights and the exterior head lamps began to flicker after the abs and brake light warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer but the failure was unable to be determined, however, the alternator was deemed to be faulty and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired, however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, however the failure was still unable to be determined. The contact was told that the battery may be faulty and needed to be replaced. The battery was replaced, the abs and brake light warning indicators were no longer illuminated but the dash panel lights and exterior head lamps still flickered. The vehicle was not taken back to the dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 146,000. Sw.
The lights on my 2005 Dodge Caravan will not turn on have to keep on turning the knob back and forth so many times for the lights to come on the brake lights work the bright works but the dim is the one that will stay on. The brake lights will not turn off when the knob is turned to off and eats up the battery.
