Ignition Module problems of the 2008 Dodge Caravan

Two problems related to ignition module have been reported for the 2008 Dodge Caravan. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Ignition Module problem

Failure Date: 09/04/2014

Tl-the contact owns a 2008 Dodge grand Caravan. The contact received notification of a NHTSA campaign number:11v139000(ignition, module) however, the parts to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Aw.

2 Ignition Module problem

Failure Date: 05/26/2014

The contact owns a 2008 Dodge Caravan. While driving at 35 mph, the radio, fan, and turn signals turned off as if the electrical system had short circuited sporadically. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where they confirmed that this was the wireless ignition node (win) module and they needed to perform the recall on the vehicle. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 14v373000 (electrical system); however, the part needed to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The failure mileage was approximately 50,000.
