Accelerator Stuck problem #1

2011 Dodge grand Caravan crew-the gas pedal gets stuck in acceleration, the dealer states it is the gas pedal assembly. There is not a current recall, but the dealer says it is not safe to drive the vehicle and it must be replaced, or I can risk killing my family. Filed a complaint with Dodge, they said the "do not have enough complaints to issue a recall". I guess they are waiting till someone dies. Their warranty to replace these types of items ends at 36,000 and my extended warranty will not cover it. What a waste of money these warranties are. I doubt I will ever buy another Dodge!.

Cruise Control problem #2

The speed control failed to turn off when the cancel button was pressed. The speed control was turned on and the indicator/light showed that the cruise control was working. As I approached a stoplight at about 60 mph, I pressed the cancel button but nothing happened. At this time I saw that the cruise indicator was not showing. I pressed the cancel several times but the cruise was still engaged. I then tapped the brake and the cruise control disengaged. From this time on when I tried the cruise control it would sometimes turn on and sometimes not. I took the vehicle to the local Dodge dealer and they replaced the switch. Problem I see is that the cruise was engaged, without any indicator light, and would not cancel.
