Failure Date: 06/30/2024

I need to address a serious issue regarding the car I purchased in 2020 from a private vendor. Upon taking the car to crown Dodge dealership in ventura county for repair, I had to pay roughly $700 out of pocket for the service and rented a car from hertz for the days I was without my car. However, upon receiving the car back, it still had unresolved issues with the electrical components and dashboard noise. It is unacceptable that the manager at the dealership did not prioritize my safety or the quality of the car I purchased. Since this car is my sole mode of transportation, I demand a prompt resolution to this matter. I expect immediate assistance in addressing these concerns. Thank you.

Please feel free to contact me at [xxx] or [xxx] please see the attachment. Thank you. Information redacted pursuant to the freedom of information act (foia), 5 u. S. C. 552(b)(6).

6 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 12/11/2019

On December 11, 2019, my son was about to leave for work when the horn starting blowing in the car and wouldn't stop. The car was stationary. After about 4 minutes it stopped. I took the car to supreme Chevrolet in plaquemine where I purchase the car from. The car was checked out and told that I was going to need another horn, they had ordered one and it should be in in about 3 days. When I went to the service area to pick up the car, the guy told me that the horn and airbag had been taken out and they had put something around the stirring wheel to hold it down until the horn can be replaced. I have checked back multiple times and they are still saying they cannot locate the horn for my car. It's very dangerous to drive a car without a horn and an airbag. Today is October 23, 2020 and I have yet to get a horn and airbag for the car.

It is going to be a 650. 00 repair I called Dodge and the warranty ran out on my car on June 22,2015 this car only has 31,152 miles on it and thought they may fix the problem because there has been several recalls about the pinion nuts backing off the car hasn't been driven because of the shortage of the air bags not available to be replaced and I'm somewhat scared to drive it and the thoughts of being hit on the side of the highway was some uneasy.
