Tl the contact owns a 2014 Dodge Challenger. The contact stated that while her son was driving, the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was restarted with several warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the contact residence and later towed to progressive Chrysler Dodge Jeep ram dealer (7966 hills and dales rd NW, massillon, OH 44646) and was diagnosed that the engine ceased after driving through a pool of water and needed to be replaced. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 63,000.
High speed/acceleration/and casual speed stalling. Freeway speed causes stalling/buckling hesitation, the engine light will go on, and the car will continue to reduce speed until it is stopped/off. After a short time (up to two days), the engine light will go off before I get to the service center, which leads to the dealership telling me "if we cannot re- create the problem, then we cannot fix it. " the problem has happened over 10 times, and has now progressed to happened with a casual/ or isle speed as well. The level of severity has also increased as well as the time frame of the stalling.
