Own a 2015 Dodge Challenger r/t with 8-speed automatic transmission. When decelerating to brake to a stop and car auto shifts down from gear 2 to gear 1, the car jerks forward a bit and I hear a light popping noise coming from rear underneath trunk area. It happens when car is decelerating down in the 15 mph to 0 mph range. Only noticed this happening when decelerating. This was noticeable within first 2 weeks of buying car brand new. Took the car to Dodge dealer. Dealer applied a transmission firmware update. This did reduce the forward jerking push motion, but there is still a slight forward jolt and the knock/popping noise is still present.
