This airbag light came on and has control over the air conditioning unit and also controls the defrost as well. This is unsafe condition because I live in a state where it rains really hard and I almost hit several cars from behind because I didn't have my defrost in the front or rear.
Tl- the contact owns a 2007 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that NHTSA campaign number: 14v817000 (air bags) had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for repair. The dealer stated the parts needed were not available for repair. The manufacturer was not aware of the delay. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact did mention upon start up the vehicle will beep after warning indicators disappear . The vehicle was not formally diagnosed nor repaired. The failure mileage was 109,000. Az.
