I was driving it and all of the sudden it shut down and I couldn't push the breaks and it started to smell like burnt wiring badly and I was in the middle of the road and ended up having to push it on to the side of the road and then leave it were it died for 2 days until finally I got ahold of a tow truck and now its sitting in my drive way dead.
1. The wiring to the headlights keeps burning into and it has been replaced twice already. 2. The radio doesn't come on when I start the car; I have to shut it off and restart it sometimes several times to get everything connected. 3. I have had to have my car aligned 4 times in 9 months and bought 2 sets of tires because it will not keep the alignment. This has been going on for over a year and the radio and lights has been happening for much longer. What can you tell me about these problems?.
Passenger hid light intermittently shuts off. After a period of the vehicle being shut down and restarted the light will come back o but will shut off again after a few minutes. There is an open recall on the wiring harness, but nothing is showing on my particular vehicle for the recall.
Pdc and ac wiring melted together. Wire harness is part of headlamp to dash harness. Ac will go in and out on it's own. Was told by dealership it requires replacement of pdc and headlamp to dash wiring harness. Pdc and wired should not melt together causing exposed wires.
The contact owns a 2012 Dodge Charger. The contact stated that the low beams failed to function and shorted out without warning. The dealer replaced the lights, but the low beams shorted out again. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and the low beams were replaced again, along with the wiring and wiring harness. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign numbers: 12v197000 (service brakes, air, electrical system) and 12v042000 (service brakes, hydraulic, electrical system, exterior lighting) although the failures were identical. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The contact was uncertain if replacing the parts with the same oem parts would correct the issue. The approximate failure mileage was 79,097.

2012 Dodge Charger low beam headlight on the driver side continues to go out. I have a melted/fried harness and exposed wiring. Has been going out for several months. I have to replace bulbs continuously both oem and after market bulbs. There are other owners experiencing the same issue, especially on the driver side. There is a recall for the police version, but none for the se models, however, the issues seem to be the same. I have filed a complaint with Chrysler. Visiting the dealer tomorrow to attempt remedy.
Car malfunctioned twice at high rate of speeds within days of each other. Extremely dangerous driving conditions. Car currently being towed again but not fixed. Same malfunction indicators came on with alarms. No place to pull off without causing a wreck. Slowed driving and put on hazards. Awaiting tow truck. Dealer alerted. I'm terrified of driving this car that has under 900 miles. Twice the incidents occurred in heavy highway traffic at high rates of speed.
