One problem related to other fuel system pump has been reported for the 2014 Dodge Charger. The most recently reported issues are listed below. Please also check out the statistics and reliability analysis of the 2014 Dodge Charger based on all problems reported for the 2014 Charger.
The Dodge Charger has a critical design flaw on the top of the fuel pump located below the drivers side passenger seat. The fuel pump housing cover is prone to cracking and thus results in fuel leaking outside the fuel pump and the surrounding areas. The fuel leaking will occur regardless of if the vehicle is stationary or in motion. The poorly designed fuel pump cover does very little to contain the fuel inside the fuel pump and creates a very dangerous situation where petrol is being leaked into many different areas that can easily result in vehicle fires and death. My Dodge Charger is in very good condition and this fuel leak had nothing to do with vehicle maintenance or driving habits. The fuel pump is simply designed in a reckless manner which has already resulted in multiple vehicle fires and death in Dodge Chargers and Dodge challengers. I urge you to please act swiftly in recalling and resolving this matter before more lives are lost.
