Passenger side headlight turns off in random, and then goes off completely. Happened in 2019 and then again in 2023, for my 2015 Dodge Charger. Repair is expensive,.
I have owned my car for a little over 4 years and I just bought a two pack of lightbulbs in sept 2022 for the headlights. And I replace my bulbs every couple of months bc they go out. This cannot be normal. This is becoming expensive as a 2 pack is $50 x3 times a year. I've had them replaced at a shop where it was over $125. I've checked to make sure I'm buying the right ones. And I just find this to be crazy. As I have to go buy my 4th pack tomorrow this year.
Headlights are so dim you can barely see the road at times at night or in the rain.
My headlight keep going out on my 2015 Dodge Charger I had both replaced and now the driver side went out again please help.
My headlamps periodically shut off while driving, which results in a potentially dangerous situation. I am told that the electronic control system module regularly malfunctions on these vehicles resulting in a situation where lighting at the front of the vehicle turns off. This condition has happened not only while stationary but also while moving.
Attempted to start car and nothing happened when start was pushed. Lights and radio worked. Message on panel said press on brake and push start but still nothing happened. The lights on the gear shift began flashing red, the wipers began operation even though they were off. The key fobs would no longer work. I had to have the vehicle towed to a dealer, which stranded me 4 hours from home in 0 degree weather. The dealer could not get to it for 3 days and when they did- it started with no problem and no code errors came up. The dealership actually told me that they think it was due to the extreme cold temperatures. I guess Dodge can only be driven in a warm climate. Now it did it again last night. At least I was only 30 mins from home. I went back this morning and it started right up again but the engine light is on. This time it was 65 degrees. Something is terribly wrong with this vehicle. It seems from searching the internet that a lot of Chargers have this issue but there is no recall on my car to have it repaired.
The driver side lights doesn't stay on. The bulb and fuse was replaced. This is a known issue with Chrysler as to they settled a class action suite with Jeep in 2015. The tipm is bad on the Charger.
When my car is in park and engine is off my dashboard lights , shifter light & blower for ac/ heat stay on. Therefore draining the battery.
