Gas Tank Strap problems of the 2000 Dodge Dakota

Tl-the contact owns a 2000 Dodge Dakota. The contact stated that while the vehicle was parked at the residents home without warning the contact notice the fuel tank detached from the vehicle. An indepdnted mechanic was contacted and came out to the contact residents to diagnosed the vehicle and confirmed that the fuel tank needed to be replaced. The vehicle fuel tank was strapped to the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the indepdnte mechanic where at this moment is begin repaired. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approxmently 60,000. Ck.
