Three problems related to seats have been reported for the 2000 Dodge Dakota. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When you apply the brakes to stop or slow down the vehicle while in motion, the drivers seat slides forwards. I can't seem to figure out what is causing the seat to move forward when coming to a stop.
Vehicle was hit from rear at 50 mph in which driver's seat collapsed backwards, cause unknown. Consumer states that when the seat failed, she sustained injuries to her hands, shoulder, back, and neck.
The back rest broke at the weld that hooks to the lower seat causing the seat back to collapse while driving, consumer did not loose control of vehicle. Nlm.
