Noisy valve train on 2001 Dodge Dakota with 3. 9 engine. The roller tappets were changed by the dealer, but they are still noisy. Also in cold weather there is a shrill whistling sound at slight throttle pressure. The dealer said Dodge was working on it. Wondered if any other complaints about the same things? there is no safety problem that I know of, just concern of reliability.
