2001 Dodge ram. The consumer stated that on front center folding seat the bolt sheared off and the seat collapsed. This started three days ago. The dealership stated there was nothing they could do. He ordered the bolt to fix it. Dodge stated warranty expired. This was the first time this happened.

2 Front Seat Recliner problem

Failure Date: 05/11/2004

While sitting inside of the vehicle driver's side seat collapsed backwards. This caused the driver to fall backwards. Driver drove to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic replaced the seat.

3 Front Seat Recliner problem

Failure Date: 05/11/2004

While sitting, inside of the vehicle driver's side seat collapsed backwards. This caused the driver to fall backwards. No injuries reported. Consumer was able to drive vehicle to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that the frame to seat needed to be replaced due to a worn out part.
