Two problems related to tire blowout have been reported for the 2001 Dodge Dakota. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Complaint received via e-mail. Driver's side goodyear tire blew wout, causing a collision and bodily injuries on interstate 94. Vehicle spun out of control and hit a concrete median head-on.
The right rear tire experienced a blowout while traveling highway speed of 70 mph with only the driver in a 2001, Dodge, Dakota, original equipment, tire size 265/70r16, dot#4872wdwr4700, manufactured in canda. Goodyear was notified but did not want to pay the cost for the tires.
