Defogger problems of the 2003 Dodge Dakota

Two problems related to defogger have been reported for the 2003 Dodge Dakota. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Defogger problem

Failure Date: 05/13/2010

The air pressure coming out of the vents was minimal while driving and just above minimal when in park. This is an all the time situation. Was told it could be a few things: blend door, circulation or vacuum issue. I started searching the issue online and found entire forums devoted to these issues. It was recommended that people file a complaint because it was agreed that a recall was or should be in order on that particular part or housing.

2 Defogger problem

The windshield wipers lifted off the windshield when traveling over 60 mph. The wipers could not be adjusted to keep the blades from hitting the windshield frame. The defroster air flow does not keep the windshield clear of frozen ice or snow. The consumer has seven Dodge Dakota's ranging from 1994-2003 and they all have this problem.
