1 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 11/24/2024

I was going to work and the transmission started slipping when I had cruise control on, and then when I got to a stop light my truck started revving and wouldn't move. When I put it in neutral it wouldn't roll either. It just kept on revving and screeching. So I out back into drive and it jerks. Also my trucks rear end locked up and wouldn't roll in neutral while the truck is on. You have to keep the truck off and then put it into neutral to roll it.

2 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 07/11/2019

This one simple part effects so much and it is unsafe that this part affects so much. You guys offer it but its close to 1400$. Why is it so much? this would be vehicle number 2 within a year of each other having something bad go wrong it makes it unsafe to drive. It effects my fuel mileage, brakes, spedo and tach go crazy, headlights flash, problems with communicating with transmission, and it keads to the front controle module. My cruise stopped working and it worked before. My key fob has issues unlocking and locking takes like 10 button presses to work. I like your trucks but this makes it unsafe I cant even let my kid ride in my truck with me.

3 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 09/02/2016

My 2006 Dodge Dakota is having problem with the turn signal and wiper. While driving, regardless of speed, my right turn signal flashes when I'm turning left. This is a safety hazard that will confuse other drivers. My wiper is also acting up. The fastest speed sometimes works and sometimes doesn't work. It's still working but just the regular speed. If it has speed of 1-5 for example, it only goes to 4. I think this should be a recall of parts or at least no charge when they replace whatever it is that needs to be replaced. Reading online, only Dodge-chrysller has this problem.

4 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 03/16/2015

Back on 1/14/2015 I brought my 2006 Dodge Dakota to a dealership for replacement of rusted brake lines. About two months later, at 45k mi. , my driver side seat belt indicator light started to flicker on start-up. Shortly thereafter it would remain lit after start-up. I waited to request re-servicing my vehicle, only to find out the air bags were on recall. Therefore, I waited until I was given the call to bring my vehicle in for air bag replacement. The date for servicing was 10/30/2015. Upon completion of the ai bag replacement I was told my new air bags would not deploy nor does the horn work. This would require an additional $600. 00. The cause of this safety failure was due to a defective clockspring unit. My question is at under 50kmi. Is it normal for this safety component to fail and is this a constant in other vehicles? it seems to me that placing faulty safety related equipment in vehicles only increases profit margins, over and above the normal maintenance expenses.

5 Equipment problem

Failure Date: 06/12/2014

Purchase this vehicle one year ago this month, as we were leaving the dealer ship, we noticed a small squeak, really didn't think anything of it, 6 months later the squeak is louder. When back to the dealership and was told, not to worry about it, it was nothing. On June 12th when to get it inspected, and guess what it failed, reason, the front balljoints are no good. I suspect that this dealership knew they were bad when they sold it, now being on a limited income, I can't get it fixed and still have to make payments on it. What can be done about this, this vehicle was only driven during the winter months, since it was a 4x4.
