Headlights problems of the 2006 Dodge Dakota

The contact owns a 2006 Dodge Dakota. The contact stated that while driving approximately 45 mph, the headlights suddenly failed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who diagnosed that the headlight connector harness and the light bulbs failed and a software update was needed to remedy the failure. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and was informed that the vehicle was not included in the NHTSA campaign number: 06v039000 (visibility).
