The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for diagnosis. The mechanic replaced the front brake pads and cleaned the rotors. The failure continued after the repair. The contact stated the failure could have been related to the front end and not necessarily the brakes. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 30,000.
