My shifting cable disconnected from transmission again when I shifted from park.

I'm writing to you because I'm changing my high low to head light every 2 months or so . I just change my driver side yesterday and its already burnt out . Is there and electrical issue ?.

Hello, my car's windshield wipers will not turn off and windshield washer fluid stopped working about a week ago. I drove it to the repair shop to get an estimate. On the way back, a passing vehicle threw some dirt onto the the front windshield and the action of the wipers caused it to smear, making it difficult to see. I could also not use the washer fluid to clear the mud. I'm very concerned about the safety of anyone needing to drive my car. Thank you for looking into this problem for me. When a passenger gets in the pasenger seat the air bag and no seatbelt comes on blinking and dinging the whole time I am driving. Today my check engine light came on so I took it to auto zone and had the codes read adn it came up with the following p0520 engine oil pressure sensor/switch circuit and code u0140 lost communication with body control module.

Tl the contact owns a 2013 Dodge Dart. While driving and making a left turn, the windshield wipers engaged independently and have not shut off. The failure occurred after the turn signal was activated. In addition, the sprayers for the wiper fluid did not work, which affected the contact's visibility while driving. The contact called the manufacturer and was informed that they could not assist until the multi function control switch was shipped and no longer on backorder. The manufacturer claimed to not be aware of the failure even though the contact found a lot of information about it online. The dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 89,500.

I have a recall for my transmission bushing and I have called multiple dealerships to try to get it fixed but they all say they dont have the parts available! I have to manually put the transmission cable on the arm to be able to switch gears, this is a huge safety concern that is not in any hurry to be fixed. I strongly demand this issue getting resolved in a more timley mannor as my inspection needs to be passed and it is unable to because of this problem. Seatbelts light keeps coming on when seatbelts are worn and off when the arnt.

Dodge Dart driver window does not roll up, also window gets stuck in automatic mode when rolling down. I have purchased a new motor and a new switch but issue still continues. There are multiple forums that customers discuss this same issue. If you take the switch board apart there is some faulty soldering that could be affecting the window from rolling back up. This issued occurred when the car was parked.

The transmission has gone out after the gasket was replaced at the Dodge dealer as a recall. It will not change gears and tries to start out in 4th gear. When you do get it to pull itself the rpm's are 3. 5. The dealer ships say's that they could not have caused the issue but it ran fine before the transmission had the recall replacement of the transmission cable. The cruise control works only if you set it as soon s you start the car, if you don't it will not engage or come on. There is a check engine light that comes on and even when it is on the dealership cannot find any trouble codes. This is gt and I love the car but it does not run 80% of the time.

Any phone connected to u-connect will disconnect while talking on the car stereo. I feel very unsafe when I have to look at my phone while driving to talk on speaker rather than the car stereo. I've had enough, and I want I want this fixed as soon as possible.

Well my car headlight and the paneling caught on fire in my car went to car hop to advise them took the car to one of there dealers advised that they don't do electrical at the same time the recall came in advised me that a recall was needed too k it to dealership and as of now 30 days behind on the part advised carhop that the repairs have been made before I brought the car that wasn't done correctly which made me have to pay for the recall work they swear they didn't bit the state and carfax say otherwise it wasn't done by Dodge in no state but by there mechanics at this time the car is dangerous to drive it's still at Dodge and carhop said they will resell it to another family even though I advised them the panel caught on fire and there is a short.

I was driving down the highway when it was raining then it stopped then it started up again and went to turn on my wipers and they wouldnt turn on, so I called a buddy of mine thats a mechanic and he told me its probly the steering column ribbon broke and sure enough I took it to Dodge and thats what it was. This should be recalled for a defect and should be replaced at no charge this is a almost $500. 00 part to replace it.

My car randomly will not start thinking that it is not in park. This also causes the diagnostic electronics to go haywire. I'm told there is a bushing that will fix this problem, but Dodge refuses to provide this part to my local dealer. The bushing is designed to cause the car to know it is in park so it will start. I'm also told this is a recall issue, but I received no recall notice from Dodge.

While driving the screen will randomly go completely black and then start flickering white - my dash is now doing the same, simultaneously. However, the screen lights (speed, miles, mpg, etc) stay dim to where I can't even read what is says. My speedometer and gauges will give out and then proceed to quickly flicker up and down. After about 30 seconds of this happening, the whole electronic system resets itself. This has happened 5 times within the last two days, within a maximum of 4 total hours driving time. When starting my car, it hesitates to start - it makes clicking noises prior to actually starting. The battery is fairly new as well. My center console randomly stops working, I have zero control over the radio / climate function. Even after disconnecting the battery, the problem resumes. The uconnect doesn't work - no phone system, or bluetooth music. The back-up camera has completely gone out. There seems to be several issues with the Dodge Dart that go unsolved and are a huge safety risk.

Cv joints making noise when turning. Reported when under warranty, but was told it was the cold. Radio and blue tooth went out, mileage at the time 40,000.

The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 90,000.

I bought a Dodge Dart 2013 limited edition (or was talked into it by your salespeople) I wanted this to be my last car and I actually really liked it. Then I started having transmission problems with the car shifting into neutral randomly. I took it to a Dodge dealer but the problem persisted. This happened three times and they said they did everything they could. A lemon law firm contacted me and said they could replace the car if I had 3 occurrences with receipts which I submitted to them. They said Chrysler was giving me $3900. I was confused because I thought they were giving me enough to replace the car. They explained Chrysler didn't want to do that. I actually forgot about it (that was 2016) and thought the issue had been fixed so I was happy. Now this past July 4th 2019 my transmission problems have returned. My car has 48,000 only and not even the Dodge extended warranty (which I wanted to now purchase) do not cover 2013 models. That speaks volumes to me. They know they sold me a lemon and one that is not safe. I can't afford a new car and have now learned that lemons are bought and sold back to the public. I will never buy or speak well about Chrysler again. You are a fraudulent company. I wanted a Honda originally but was talked out of it by neighbors who work for Chrysler. I will be calling deena centofanti from channel 2 fox to tell her I was sold an unsafe car and I am stuck with it. They already know that Chrysler knew the system design was faulty in 2012 but released the 2013 anyway. Shameful.

The battery light and engine light started flickering on and off, and the vehicle started idling and decreasing in speed for no reason. When trying to accelerate it did not want to do so, and again the lights and power started flickering turning on and off intermittently. Upon pulling to the side of the road I turned the engine off, at which trying to restart, the engine did not turn over only clicking noises. Instead still what seemed like a surging of power with all random lights flickering and stereo turning on and off. This issue had not only happened once but now twice, and I am currently left car less as the issue cannot be fixed or found. A tune up was done on my car, wires replaced, the battery replaced twice, and a module replaced due to the fan for air conditioning intermittently turning off and on on it's own for no rhyme or reason. I have receipts for all stated above replacements. However, I have kept them in my car recently due to have to replace multiple parts within only a couple months of the part being replaced. No one seems to be able to figure out what is taking place, and I am certainly tired of paying for parts to replace the problem when they have not helped in any way shape or form. It seems to me it is more of a manufacturing issue than a maintenance issue. More over the first time this issue occurred I was on the highway and could've been severely injured due to cars driving at high speeds and not paying attention. This issue is really dangerous and could be life threatening if not handled appropriately. I would highly suggest someone looking into these faults before it costs a life.

My car will hesitate to speed up, and feels like the transmission jumps randomly while driving. Last year, it got stuck in neutral when I parked - wouldn't go into drive although I could move the gear shifter. Ongoing electrical issues with backup camera and uconnect.

Since March 2019 check engine light has come one 3 times. My car has either stalled in middle of intersection and/or has a bucking sensation and then check engine turns on. This is unacceptable that it keeps occurring. One time they replaced battery, next time recall v34 and again today. There has to be something going on with this model. I do not feel safe. This happens while I am driving.

The shifter cable bushing on the transmission end of the shifter cable which can deteriorate and become detached from the transmission. This condition can result in the inability of the driver to actually shift the transmission, even though the driver may move the shifter handle.

About a year ago while driving all of the dashboard lights would come on such as check engine light and tire pressure lights. Then these lights would randomly turn off. This would happen on and off for a few months. I had the car diagnosed twice and they found no issues. Now I have not had and issues with the dash lights coming on for about the last 6 month except for now the radio completely blacks out for about 15 seconds and it knocks out my dash board speedometers they all completely drop down to zero and this happens while driving even on the highway. This happens once or twice a day or sometimes everyother day. I cannot see what speed I am going and the pins just stutter.

Car will idle roughly while in drive and break is applie, if in neutral idle isn't rough. J have changed the spark plugs, gotten a tune up, changed the air filter and nothing has helped. Occasionally back passenger wont go up,radio screen will occasionally turn off while driving and radio often filled with static.

Car flashes check engine light, turns on and off multiple times on its own, unexpectedly shifts into neutral, occasionally goes forward when in reverse (r), steering wheel locks while driving, takes a lot of pressure on the acceleration pedal to move forward.

Our vehicle keeps shutting off on highways, roads, etc. We always have children in the car. When we can finally start it again the whole electrical system then wants to shut down and the screen stays black for a long time.

Tamara recall. I was driving my Dart home from work this evening when I noticed a power loss and a burning smell. Once I pulled car over I realized it was on fire. Fire started just by the battery. The car is a total loss.

Deck comes open when auto is in motion or sitting idle. As I was driving the deck opened wide blocking view through rear window. I closed the deck and drove home. The . The next morning the deck had opened again.

The ribbon cable that controls the windshield wipers has been severed, due to repeated use of the blinkers on the same control. The windshield wipers always run now, at a low speed. They can not be stopped, sped up, and can no longer use the wiper fluid dispenser.

During cold weather of 20 f or lower remote start, push start, and main dash/touch screen will not work correctly. Car will not correctly start by remote/push start and stalls out periodically despite having been serviced for recall associated with this issue. Main dash/ touch screen will not turn on at car start which makes heat/cooling/radio/rear camera/ seat heating inaccessible and uncontrollable. Multiple restarts does not fix the problem and while driving it will not come on. Anything controlled by dash/touch screen is locked to the settings they were last time the dash/ touch screen was accessible. Actual controle knobs do not work when dash/touch screen is not functional. If systems do not work correctly at start they do not work correctly after driving and �warming� up the engin. This car is located in michigan.

Back in the beginning of 2019 I started having issues with the transmission. It was causing a jerking motion when I accelerated and I brought it into the dealership not once but twice. I initially had a code come up stating that I needed to service the transmission. It would come on and clear itself before I could get it looked at. That was the first time I brought it in and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. It continued to happen over the next six months or more and when I brought it back to them and discussed the recall on the transmission they dismissed me as that wasn't the issue but, at that point I had to have it towed into the shop because of this issue since I was unable to drive it. They still have not fixed the transmission recall and I have had to have my car sitting for the last year and 2 months due to my inability to drive it because of whatever issues that were going on that they never fixed. I am unsure of the damage that this has caused and I am hoping that you guys will be able to help me figure out what I can do to have them now fix my car. Since there is possibly additional damage done to my vehicle due to them dismissing me I feel that it is their responsibility to fix that damage as well. The date I gave was an approximate date since it has been so long I am unsure of the exact date but can get a copy of the documents from the dealership if needed.

My 2013 Dodge Dart sxt windshield wipers will not turn off! this is because of the switch not working or it's an electrical issue. Turn signals still work but this is a hazard that can get driver hurt. It adds an distraction.

While driving on the highway and on city streets, the dash board lights went out and the needles for the speed and rpm went all the way to the bottom like the car was cut off. The car was still in motion. The dashboard said service electrical breaking system and the engine light eluminated. It did this more than one time. It will flicker the warning on the dashboard and then at one point the car cut off while on city streets. At another time when the message flickered on the dashboard the battery light came on. This has happened multiple times and I am concerned about my safety in this car as well as my children. The radio cut off and the eventually cut back on.

Air bag lights is on check engine lights car running hot fam turning in wrong directions I keep putting brake fluid in once a week heat come on m off when it feel like it tire lite I keep spending money for tires head rest is not normal it pushes my neck out when I'm driving now my neck n back hurts.

Was driving the car down the freeway when all the warning lights on the dash lit up. The car lost power steering and started to shut down. I had to fight to get it off the road since the power steering was gone. All the lights remained lit up. I believe it's the pcm do to other recall but my car is a manual and the recall is for automatics only.

The clutch stays stuck to the floor, then pressures up at times . I see many complaints about this online.

Car's engine compartment burst into flames during commute to work 0700 in the morning 10/09/2018, 65 degree day in 35 mph zone. 54,000 miles on car. Car was moving at 30mph when engine died and car started to smoke from under hood, within 60 seconds flames appeared from hood, my daughter driving the car got out just in time she was the only passenger. Lost all belongings in car.
