As I was driving down the highway the windshield wipers suddenly came on and now will not shut off, change speed, or release wiper fluid. Any time the key is on, the wipers are running. The wipers are now a distraction, as they are constantly in motion. I can also not turn them on a higher setting when it is raining heavily.
Windshield wipers will not turn off. I started my car. I turned on the blinker to turn left and the wipers came on. The wipers on low. I stopped my car and attempted to turn the wipers off, but they would not shut off. The sprayer would not work also. Took the car to the dealership the bcm and module needs to be replaced. $1000 charge.
Vehicle needs to be approved for recall concerning (multifunction switch) which is the windshield wiper controller as its communicating cables are too fragile to work under regular turning signal usage as cable within component gets pulled by it's own regular motion at usage. This causes the cables within the switch to get cut and broken making it to break completely. Because the part is not being produced by mopar the part is not found as Dodge dealers make you wait in line next to 400 other Dodge driver owners in order to get the part (when they start producing the part) which there has been no confirmation of being produced by mopar.

It was considered brand new when I bought it with only 3,000.
My windshield wipers run constantly when the vehicle is on. The wipers do not engage while on remote start. I went into the unconnected and turned off rain sensing module. The wipers continued to run at a slow speed. I used the windshield wiper lever to turn off the wipers. However, my wipers continued to run no matter what interval I used. My car will not dispense washer fluid with the use of the lever. I did check to ensure washer fluid tank is filled with washer fluid recommended for my vehicle.
Windshield wipers stuck in on position. Turn on and off intermittently. Wipers caused a permanent streak on windshield obstructing driver view from oncoming traffic. Happens while driving.

It was rain and turned the windshield wipers on. When I got home I went to turn the wipers off they would not stop I took to the dealership and the want $800. 00 to replace the part can be found online for way cheaper. This is an insane cost for a car with multiple issues. There should be a recall done on this problem. Dodge had made a lemon of car. This is not the only problem I have with it.
The "stick" device that controls the wipers & window solution, just went out on my car. The whole part needs to be replaced. It's going to cost between 600-700 to fix. My car only 3 years old & has 35,000 miles on it, but is out of warranty. When I spoke with the mechanic about the repair he stated that Chrysler/Dodge has modified this part at least a dozen times because of failures. However, no recall has been issued. I think Dodge should cover the repair costs.
Placing sun guard up on the dash. When flipping down the sun visors to hold the sun guard in place, the passenger side visor broke and dropped right out of the roof and dangling by wiring harness. Due to the random broken component, the visor cannot be safely up and is visible distraction to the driver when checking the passenger side blind spot.
Check engine light was on. Dealership technician was able to perform diagnostic procedure that called for a software update for camshaft pos. Sensor and evap leak.
I want to report that the wipers can not clean the windshield properly. If you try to drive through a torrential rain the windshield is wet, even in the highest speed. And also the windshield (glass) absorbs the dirty , oil, etc, so it is very complicated to clean with the windshield cleaner or other products that are specific for this purpose.
